Fort Cavazos Family Scholarship Fund Golf Scramble
The Fort Cavazos Family Scholarship Fund (FCSF) is excited to celebrate our 30th Anniversary serving the Fort Cavazos and surrounding Community. We have an exciting year ahead, as we have expanded spouse eligibility to include approved certificate programs and graduate degree programs. We have been providing merit-based scholarships to High School Seniors and Military Spouses spanning six counties (Bell, Coryell, McLennan, Travis, Williamson, and Lampasas) since 1985.) We are thankful for the support of our community partners in making our mission possible, to empower the aspirations of our military community by fostering accessible pathways to higher education.
As a part of our efforts, we will be hosting a “THIR TEE” Year Anniversary Golf Scramble Saturday, November 16th, 2024. It will be held at the Hills of Cove Golf Course. Teams will consist of 4 players with a chance to compete for bragging rights, as well as loads of fun and opportunities to support our goal of raising funds for our 2024-2025 scholarship awardees. Over the last six years, we have awarded $332,100 in scholarships. In the last academic year alone (2023-24), we provided scholarships ranging from $750-$5,000 to 50 high school students and 2 spouses, totaling $76,500.
The proceeds of this fundraiser ensure the FCSFs ability to provide invaluable educational opportunities and demonstrate to our awardees that they have a village that believes in their success.
